Twilight hitting the big screen proves longer for me. The continuing chop and change seems to annoy people who are willing to become a vampire for the love of Edward. Dec 12, then Nov 21 and now Nov 26. I guess Edward Cullen is giving me enough time to finish the book before I see him in action with popcorn. I’m not really bothered by the movement though. Keri lang.

Gothic - Straight Hair Again!!!

Bobby likes it so much. I can tell. It’s friggin’ straight now I look like a goth with black nail paint on. I’ll just wait until I’m able to wash my hair, it’ll get better.

Bobby and I, together with Karsen, went to PACU’s November GEB JDM Contest on Satruday. Karsen had fun with all the cars he saw kaso went running towards Bobby when he heard one SIR revved the engine.

Paranaque Auto Club Unite

Ako? It’s definitely a YES.

Babalik ako sa college. Dun sa point na nag-skip ako ng 3rd at 4th year HS dahil in-accelerate ako ng DECS sa college. Dun ako babalik. Ano ang gagawin ko dun? Aayusin ko ang pag-aaral ko. I had a good start but spoiled the rest of my PCC years.

HINDI ako sa Pasig Catholic College mag-aaral na kung saan pumapasok lang ako para magcut ng klase. HINDI rin Management ang kukunin kong course. Hindi ako babarkada kay Peter, kay Tin, kay Norman at kay Jean. Oo, kaibigan ko sila. Pero nagsisisi ako. Kasalanan ko nakipagbarkada ako sa kanila.  Hindi ko na sasabihin ang mga kalokohan namin pero totoong nakakahinayang ang panahong inaksaya ko sa kanila. Sana um-oo ako sa lolo ko nung sinabi nya na sa La Salle ako mag-aral, tutal covered naman ng educational plan ko. Sana um-oo ako nung sinabi nya na HUWAG business course ang kunin ko, dahil daw pamilya kami ng doktor at engineer, hindi negosyante.

Nung nasa Lyceum na ako, in my attempt to try college the second time around, sana hindi ako nagmini-mini-mayni-mo sa listahan ng course na nasa harap ko. Sana nag-isip ako ng maigi, sana inisip ko kung ano talaga ang gusto ko. HINDI Masscom Major in Advertising ang kukunin ko.

Susundan ko ang yapak ng mga kapatid ng tatay ko. Lahat sila doktor, sana nagdoktor din ako. Anong klaseng doktor naman ang kukunin ko?

1. Surgeon? - Eh, the mere sight of blood pins me down and makes me drop dead to the ground.
2. Eh kung dentist? - Ewww kaya. I don’t want anything to do inside anybody’s mouth.
3. OB Gyne? - Eh kung hindi maganda ang babae? Do I dare touch her?
4. Pedia? - Kids are lovely, I love them but I won’t last long.
5. O cge Vet na lang. - Eh kung mongrel na galisin ang pasyente ko?

Hmmm…abogado? Eto ang gusto ng Daddy ko para sa akin. Magaling daw kasi ako mangatwiran at mahilig daw ako magderecho ng baluktot or magbaluktot ng derecho. Kaso, pito sa sampung abogado, eh dukha rin sa buhay. Yung tatlong natira, magnanakaw pa. Tsk..

On second thought, kung hindi ako sa Pasig Catholic College nag-enroll, hindi ko makilala sila Peter. Hindi ako mapapabarkada. Hindi ako magdadrop. Kung hindi ako nagdrop, hindi ako matutuloy sa Lyceum at hindi ako mag-eenroll ng MassComm. Kung hindi ako graduate ng MassComm, hindi ako magiging confident sa comm skills ko at hindi ako mag-a-apply sa Convergys. Kung hindi ako nagtrabaho sa Convergys ng tatlong taon, wala sana lahat ng background ko sa call center operations at hindi sana ako tatanggapin na TL sa IVY. Kung hindi ako natuloy sa IVY, hindi ko rin maidudugtong ang tatlong position title na nakadikit sa pangalan ko ngayon.

Wala sana ang fulfillment na nararamdaman ko every time I conduct trainings, coachings and every time I deal with clients and the bosses. Wala sana yung saya na nararamdaman ko every time ako papasok sa office at alam ko na I am needed, every time na papasok ako sa office ng IT para makipaglokokahan kay Sir Denz, every time na pupunta ako sa floor ng CS at TS para kamustahin ang agents at mga Assistant TLs, yung pagpatol ko sa mga kalokohan ni Des. Wala sana yung saya tuwing papasok ako sa office ng boss ko na nakangiti, ready manlibre ng Starbux. ;)

Kung hindi ako naging MassComm student ng taong 2001, hindi ko makikilala ang mga college friends ko. Sila, na after seven long years, are still my friends. Sila, na physically miles away from me but a single text never fails to make them come flying.

Kung hindi ako naging MassComm student ng taong 2001, hindi ko makilala si Romeo. Si Romeo na classmate ko at nag-introduce sa akin ng… ONLINE GAMES!! Kung hindi ako naging mahilig magkalikot ng computer at online games, hindi ko makilala si Bobby, si Bobby na asawa ko. Kung wala si Bobby, wala si Karsen, si Karsen na anak ko. Wala sana ang saya na nararamdaman ko tuwing umuuwi ako ng bahay at nakikita ko ang pamilyang binubuo ko, yung kulit at likot ng anak ko, yung pagwrestling nya sa akin para gisingin ako, yung tantrums ng asawa ko pag kulang ang oras ko. Wala sana matyaga naghahatid sa akin sa office araw-araw kahit sya mismo ay may sariling pagod. Wala sanang iintindi sa akin kung mangako man ako na free ako ng weekends tapos may biglang may pasok pala ako. Wala rin magtyatyaga na samahan ako libutin ang buong mall tuwing magshashopping ako.

So uulitin ko ang tanong ko. Babalik ba ako sa nakaraan? Babaguhin ko ba ang buhay ko? I said yes but I think I just changed my mind. No! Wala akong babaguhin.

I will watch my failures right before my eyes, let the chips fall where they may and let life take its own course. Because I can never be happier with what I have and what I am now. It’s not flawless but I am happier than ever.

Enchanted Kingdom

Could not go Fear Factor anymore so we went inside for what EK offers the best, Kart Racing. It’s not just cool, it’s superscintillatingsensational! Karting was not part of the plan, so what was I wearing? A knee-length dead-pink dress! Best-laid plans go astray, you know. My attire was pretty for a romantic lunch and smooching over a cup of capuccino. Not for some ride-ala-drift-king so fast even I was doing my own breaks (I was the passenger) while hanging on to my dress.

Go Kart at EK

We had really good pictures but EK was selling them for P200 each. Fuck the what?!? I told the agent to just copy the files to my own card and I’ll have them printed somewhere else. He certainly disagreed. Lolz. We left EK after few more shots and continued our journey to Tagaytay. We met the PACU people on the way, and the guys made potpot to each other. They were heading home. Tsk.. di namin inabot ang fun run.

And so we went home and banged our head over a 6-kilometer stretch of heavy traffic. We were both effing tired so we decided to munch the headache away by getting something from KFC.

If I Were a Boy by Beyonce

I made this on 1280 x 800 resolution, yeah, the widescreen one, but Bobby made me change it to 1024. Kase nga naman siguro 1 out of 20 lang ang may gamit ng widescreen monitors dito sa Pilipinas. Karamihan ay laptop or mga LCD na flatscreen. So in short, hindi user-friendly. Matigas ulo ko, nilagyan ko pa horizontal scrollbar kasi ayaw ko pakawalan ang 1280 resolution ng layout ko. Pero panget talaga so I changed it 1024 and adjusted the CSS.

So there, my new layout. If time permits, baka gumawa ako ng bagong layout, yung optimized for 1024 resolution. Basta bahala na. Malay mo, after ten months ako ulet makagawa ng bago.

Oh btw, the codes are from Jaycee of babydoll.nu. I’m gonna need to learn Dreamweaver para di ako nagmomodify ng CSS ng iba. Toinks !

I  have got to watch my eating habits. I think I mentioned before na I was never conscious of my weight. Fatty, salty, sweets, name it and I wouldn’t think twice. And this attitude is taking its toll on me. No, I refuse to say I am fat despite the fact that Bobby had given indirect hints that I am and even laughs at the fold of fats beneath my chin, then justifies by saying, “Ganyan talaga pag nag-aasawa at nagkakaanak. MEDYO bumibigat.”

I hate to realize that when you are approaching late 20’s, you start to worry about a lot of things, your skin (and the pores), your weight (and belly), your nose (which you admired all the time but is suddenly becoming ugly). What more when I’m 30 ?

So yesterday was Day 1 of my nth attempt to eat right and lose excess weight (and belly fat).

I was freakin hungry yesterday but managed to content myself with half cup of rice, milkfish and soup of batchoy, yep, without the mami (noodles). Ah gawd, so not me.

There was a pizza waiting for me, and I was hungry but I passed.

I am saying NO to Dencio’s, Gerry’s, Pizza Hut, Yellow Cab, Pot and Noodle, Jollibee, Chowking, softdrinks, Sneakers, Cheetos and will acquaint myself with Century Tuna, oatmeal, fruits, vegetables, diet Coke and WATER.

I am taking this seriously…for the nth time.

Mommy and Karsen baby

I installed a YouTube plugin sa sidebar and as a starter it has one of our videos this weekend. It shows Bobby and Karsen playing sa pool. We had so much fun this weekend.

So today is Monday, start of the week, work-work-work ulet.

It’s All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day this coming weekend and my schedule is not defined yet. Not sure kung ako ba papasok for the weekend, which by the way I’ll be delighted to do for my co-officers because of the two consecutive triple pay $_$, or just stay home and find something na pagkakagastusan instead.  Hmmm.. bahala na. If Desmer gives it to me, then thanks Pare ko..if not, OK lang din. Swimming na lang kami ulet or Tagaytay.. or punta kila Mitch para sa halaya na tradition na ng mom nya every Nov 1.

Basta.. bahala na si Batman…(wink)
