The memories and the places as I visualize them in my head are all coming back to me. Maybe stress is unconsciously reminding me of Tagaytay.

I am tired, I am sleepy, I feel stressed. There’s just a lot going on right now and I’m striving to make things work for me. At the end of the day, I still ask myself, is it all worth it? Where is satisfaction? Why am I missing the feeling of being fulfilled? Rather, it is hatred and stupidity that reigns.

What do you love of Tagaytay? I love Josephines, that little Yellow Cab and Starbucks place, the Dominique Hotel, Caleruega, that huge Taal Vista Hotel, the Casino Filipino and the guard who denied my entry though I had 30thousand pesos in pocket just because I was wearing slippers, bed slippers that is. Hey, you, that’s from Crabtree and Evelyn. The Mushroom Burger and the carinderia in Mahogany Market. I remember we used to buy 10kilos of beef at a time because it was really mura. I miss Bag of Beans and of course, ang walang kamatayang Sonya’s Garden.

The road trip is even more fun. The drive as you munch on pizza, sandwich, burger, spaghetti, endless junk foods, and coffee takes my breathe away. It’s funny the moment you step out the car, waste and trash are thrown off your lap.
I miss everything about Tagaytay. I so miss it I wanna call it mine. My Tagaytay. I’ll see you soon.
